J.K. Mergens, wrote the Learn Math Fast System after homeschooling her own son.  This system explains how she taught her son math so well, that when he enrolled in college at age 16, he was hired on as a college math tutor.  He had such a high understanding for math, he even taught himself calculus.  By age 21, he has earned 3 college degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. 

J.K.'s son attributes his outstanding math skills to the way he was taught math in the beginning.  This method is all written out in the Learn Math Fast System, a series of books written differently than your typical math textbook.  The Learn Math Fast System currently consists of 5 books covering 1st-9th grade math.  The sixth book, The Applications of Algebra, will be released February 2013.
